So you’ve had it, done! You’re tired of feeling crappy, tired of your clothes not fitting right (NOT wanting to go up to the next bigger size), and frustrated with not feeling good in your own skin.  You want it to change, but where do you start?! Do you get a gym membership, buy some weights, resistance bands, cardio equipment, eliminate all tempting junk food from your home, and swear off alcohol? Of course all of those efforts can help. But I think the single most important first step that most people don’t consider is are they willing to make changes in their life? Are you willing to do a little extra each day? Are you willing to make small incremental changes?  Of course you can, but will you?  It’s ok if you have an honest conversation with yourself and realize that “no, I’m not willing or ready to start doing 10 push-ups a day”, “no, I’m not ready to walk and extra 30 min a day”, “no, I’m just not ready”.  It’s important to remember that it’s okay to not be ready. If you’re not ready, then you’re just not ready.  And by trying to convince yourself or force yourself to do something you’re not ready for will lead to greater disappointment in yourself, greater self-loathing, anger and frustration directed at yourself.  SO, give YOU a break!  Accept wherever you are in this journey, be ok with it,be ok with yourself and where you are. And then…..when you’re ready….call me! 😉
