“When I met Stacey, I was going through a life transition, it was the middle of a pandemic, and she found COVID-friendly and affordable ways to give me a fitness assessment, a running plan, and personal training two times a week. I have only been working with Stacey for 3.5 months or so, and I have gone from not being able to do more than 5 pushups to being able to do 30, and running 3 miles with lots of stopping to running ELEVEN without stopping. She offers a donation-based core class in the mornings, because she feels it supplements all other activity. I am stronger, healthier, and set better boundaries in my personal life because of Stacey. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, honest, real, and human coach, you are lucky to find her. Thank you Stacey!”

“I started working with Stacey doing weight training so that I could feel and be stronger. Not only have I achieved my goal of gaining strength, in working with Stacey I have learned to enjoy exercise for the first time in a long time. Stacey keeps things varied and interesting, she always has something new for me to try and challenges me every day in a supportive and encouraging way.  I never imagined I could do the things she has me doing now and I continue to work with her because I really look forward to the next challenge and the strength it brings me in daily life. (She is extremely knowledgeable of the science and best practices and looks out for my best interest in technique and targeting appropriate muscle groups yet also listens to me and when appropriate customizes exercises to my preferences.) She cares deeply about me getting the results I am looking for and even gives me short easy exercises I can do throughout the day at my desk at work. Deciding to work with Stacey was a turning point for me that has made me feel more comfortable in my own body. She is down to earth, easy to talk to and has a positive attitude that is contagious and just plain fun to be around.”

“I decided to try Stacey’s running group thinking I would only do it for a month or so to lose a couple of pounds. I have never thought of myself as a “runner” and would never have gone out in the rain or cold before. Wow, was I wrong! Stacey made me actually enjoy running!!! I look forward to it now, have better energy, better sleep, and feel strong. I have made new friends and Stacey gently encourages us each at our own level so I don’t even realize that I am being pushed just slightly out of my old habits to make great improvements in speed and distance. She is reliable, supportive, and knowledgeable about how to reach your goals. Also super friendly and inclusive! I highly recommend working with Stacey.

“I turned 70 years old this summer, and decided to make it an uplifting mile marker by resuming running. I found the perfect re-entry into an activity I had enjoyed well into my 50s but for which I had since lost motivation.
Stacey Stoner’s “Couch Potato to 5K” steadily and rather quickly got me comfortable running 5K distances. I re-discovered the joy of cool morning runs and the confidence and renewed energy that comes with using one’s body wisely and well. Stacey is responsible for giving me the constant encouragement and the skills to build strength and endurance. Her class was relaxed yet focused. She provided excellent tips and goal setting in between class meetups.
I thank myself for taking the first step toward running again, and I thank Stacey for taking me the rest of the way!”

“This summer, I had the pleasure of participating in a Parks and Recreation running clinic with Stacey. I was impressed that she included warm-ups, core strengthening exercises, technique tips, and running challenges with every class. We all had a great time together, and with Stacey’s guidance I went from huffing and puffing through a mile run to comfortably completing a 5K! Stacey is fun, knowledgeable, compassionate, and encouraging, and I would highly recommend her as a trainer.”
